Mekong Lodge
Located 120 kilometers southwest of Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Lodge is a true gem that encapsulates the essence of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta.
This eco-lodge is the perfect retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle, offering guests a serene escape amidst lush greenery and tranquil waterways. Situated in Cai Be, Mekong Lodge provides an authentic experience of the Mekong Delta, where visitors can immerse themselves in endless rice fields, vibrant floating markets, tropical fruit orchards, and peaceful traditional handicraft villages. Enveloped by abundant gardens of rambutan, longan, mango, and durian, the lodge resembles a charming oasis.
Perched on an island along the Tien River, Mekong Lodge is accessible only by boat from Cai Be Harbor, adding to its secluded charm. The property features 30 private and beautifully designed bungalows, built entirely from local materials such as coconut thatched roofs, bamboo interiors, and wooden furniture. Spanning 12,000 square meters, the lodge also boasts a Riverside Restaurant, serving authentic Mekong Delta cuisine. Its architecture reflects the traditional charm of rural southern Vietnam, while the bungalows are well-equipped with air conditioning, traditional bathtubs, solar-heated water, and modern bedding for a comfortable stay.
Mekong Lodge is more than just an accommodation - it’s an experience. Guests can engage in a variety of activities, including exploring the floating market, cycling through the countryside, picking and tasting fresh tropical fruits, fishing in local ponds, taking part in cooking demonstrations, and visiting nearby handicraft villages. Currently, it is the only eco-resort in the Mekong Delta and the first in the region to fully embrace Responsible Tourism, making it a truly sustainable travel choice.
